Although functionalities differ from one billing system to another, there are 3 major differences that distinguish digital from paper (traditional) medical billing.
1. Data Entry and Sending for Payment Requests
When you enter your billing information on paper and transmit these documents to your billing agency by mail or digitally, the person responsible for your account will spend most of their time transcribing all of your requests into a computer system.
